Percentage of calories from Carbohydrate Protein and Fat
It is important to know where our daily calorie intake is from. There are only three major sources: Carbohydrate, Protein and Fat. How many calories come from each group is important in determining whether we are eating healthy or not. Theory varies and this program does not attempt to champion one theory over another. However, the more accepted academic formula is 60% form Carbohydrate, 25% from Protein and 15% from Fat, and is the default values used in the program. By looking at this section, you can tell the calorie breakdown for any selected food (or group of food).
